The Redwing Inn is set to re-open its doors again.  After its untimely closure in May 2008 the popular village pub and its accompanying car park has now been purchased by a local family.
The freehouse pub and restaurant will be preserved, and local residents will be pleased to learn that previous potential development of new dwellings by the previous owners is not being pursued. In fact one of the reasons in securing the site was to stop the over development and the loss of this asset to the village.
After full refurbishment, the pub and restaurant will re-open again bringing it back into the heart of the village community. |

As of 24th September 2008 the Redwing is now under new ownership.
The new owners will soon start renovation work, before the premises open again in 2009.
The Redwing will be back for the villagers, a nice suprise awaits, with the refurbishment of your local pub....
